As a passionate competitor in two of the most highly specialized and detailed sports open to amateurs, I've seen first hand how very small differences in process or equipment can lead to large gains (or drops !) in performance during an event.
Sideways Precision is about reducing and hopefully closing that gap - by applying the knowledge and experience of some of the top compeititors in Australia, and rolling into products that lift usability, performance and the overall enjoyment of the competition.
And why 'Sideways Precision' as a name ?
Sideways was a nickname I carried through high school, and then when I first started racing I developed
a reputation for coming out of corners sideways.
Precision refers to the hours and hours of detailed preparation needed on a car, and on a driver, and on
on every piece of equipment used in shooting in order to claim a good score on the day.
It's also a little bit of a play on words ... coming out of something Sideways isn't normally considered Precise ... but it's a lot better than coming out Backwards or Upside Down !
